Description
This is a water color of a time when kerosene lamps glowed by the wood stove. Like the saying "firewood warms you twice - when you make it and when you burn it", hard work for keeping warm was much appreciated. Solitude and quiet are your neighbors on the shore of a winter lake when it's 35 below outside and heading lower when the sun finally hides for the night. Everyone should stay in a place like this at least once in their lives.
